Inspired by Hogarth’s satirical series of paintings, MARRIAGE A LA MODE is a tragi-comedy exploring the dangers of what happens when you marry for money not love. Essex born Cecilia is forced to marry the aristocratic Viscount Squanderfield, to pay off his family's debts and satisfy her family's social ambition. Unfortunately, they both end up dead [spoiler alert]. Set in 18th Century London but told in modern day vernacular, MARRIAGE A LA MODE is a hysterically funny (and raunchy) examination of our current obsession with status, fame, money and gin.

HEAD OF THE TABLE, music by Paul Castles. A hundred years of medieval history are squished into one crazy dinner party set in a modern day apartment. When William the Conqueror dies and leaves his kingdom to Empress Matilda, she must fight not only her own ambitions but her own relatives to keep her place at the head of the table. Duelling lobsters, a singing Bayeux Tapestry and metaphorical jousts abound in this 90 minute medieval-meets-modern musical. The musical received a two week work shop as part of the Old Vic Lab scheme in April 2017, and a workshop in Winchester in 2019.
